Take Off Engine Spill On Carpet

Spray this on the carpet let it sit for 24 hours then wipe and dry the area with a towel.

Take off engine spill on carpet. Avoid rubbing too softly or too harshly. Vacuum it and wash the area with white vinegar and warm water. Use just enough force. Apply a small amount of cleaning solution to washcloth.

Allow the baking. Sprinkle a bit of baking soda directly onto the motor oil stain. Use paper towels to blot the oil. Rub the soap in gently with your fingers.

Wash the area with a clean cloth and warm soapy water. Scrub thin carpet with a stiff brush and soapy water as suggested by heloise hints. Scrape off excess oil with a butter knife. Apply a generous amount of clear dish soap directly onto the carpet if the fuel smell persists.

Put roughly 1 4 cup of baking soda onto the white vinegar that you poured on the carpet. Allow it to stand overnight and vacuum it. Let the area dry completely. Rub the baking soda or corn starch into the carpeting.
